If you’re sad to see summer slide into clear days and cooler nights, you can still wear a healthy glow well into September, and help a fading tan stay beautiful a few weeks longer.

Bronzer is such a popular cosmetic, and there are so many fun ways to wear it. BUT, it is easily overdone. To avoid looking like a “Glamour Don’t” column, follow the simple tips below.

My Bronzer Faves:

For bronzer with the perfect amount of shimmer and color on all skin tones from lightest to darkest, I love Arbonne Cosmetics’ Bronzer. It’s the prettiest bronzer I’ve ever used, and it gives a beautiful finish. Generous-sized mirrored compact is attractive, and lasts absolutely forever. Available online at www.naturalbeautyandhealth.myarbonne.com.

For a shine-free bronzer that adds a natural touch of color or contour, I like Hoola’s matte bronzer in the little square box, available at Sephora stores or www.Sephora.com. Comes with a neat little brush, too. It’s great as a contouring product for photo shoots on very light skin tones, or as a natural cheek color for male actors & models.

Bronzing Tips:

  • Brush and Glow – With a fan brush, gently sweep a light dusting of Bronzer across the face in areas the sun would normally hit — the cheeks, forehead, nose and chin.
  •  The Body Bronze – On those still-warm days where you can wear something sleeveless or strappy, dust a light coating of shimmery bronzer across the collarbones and/or shoulder tops for a fresh finishing touch. And for a sexy decolletage evening look — dust the tops of “the girls” for a subtle shimmer that gets noticed.

Have fun, and keep glowing!
