The Emmys always mean the ultimate in style for the actresses featured. Many looked beautiful, but my two faves were Halle Berry and Katherine Heigl. I came across one negative viewpoint of Katherine’s look, which surprised me because I loved it.
Halle Berry – she always brings it! Tonight she wore a shimmery pink halter style gown, which showed off her toned arms and terrific figure. It was elegant and a bit 60s retro looking – a very interesting look. Her hair had some gentle highlighting and long wavy bangs, giving a nice softness to the strong lines of the dress. Her makeup was polished and beautiful.
Katherine Heigl – wearing a classic “old Hollywood” cream gown that perfectly fit her amazing figure, with just enough cleavage to make it sexy without being too much. I loved her soft updo hairstyle, which had wave and texture and showed off her face. Her makeup was also gorgeous. Her look was a nod to 40s/50s retro glamour, like classic film stars.
Both women made great choices by highlighting their good features and putting a whole look together, head to toe.
